Look what the stork dropped in

I have know Billie for years, we even danced at the same ballet studio waaaay back. We connected over christmas for a family photo session and she had decided then that she would like to do maternity and newborn photos with me as well. Her boys are SOOOOO extremely adorable and well behaved, I love working with them and cannot wait to meet baby sister Kaylee! It could be any time now so be on the lookout for her here on the blog. Until then, here she is in the belly…

The things a womans body can do -beautiful.

I have been wanting to try this for awhile and was able to practice up bit on some of my prego mama’s. I have 4 or 5 mama’s who are due within a few weeks of eachother and it was the perfect time to try it out. This is only a first go at it but I hope to perfect it with all the practice I am about to get.
I will be offering this for all my future maternity sessions, all you have to do is ask
Sarah and I knew eachother waaaaaay back in our pageant days. She was the Mini Miss yuba sutter and the Little Miss California State, and I was the Teen Miss Yuba Sutter -it is hard to believe we are both married now and having families. I was extremely excited when Sarah contacted me for newborn pictures and even more excited when we decided on a maternity session as well. She is absolutely gorgeous, who wouldn’t want to photograph her?
Sarah and her husband, Jason, drove down from Roseville for their maternity session. They wanted to use one of the pictures for their Christmas cards so we made it an outdoor family and maternity extravaganza. It was FUN.
Can’t wait for little Austin to make his debut!
I don’t think I have said this all year, but I think this one is my favorite photo I have take all year. I don’t know what it is, but I LOVE it

I will be out of town from today, July 5th, until the 11th. I have the amazing privelage of being the photographer for an awesome organization in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Redwood Christian Park. So I will be snapping away during the week for them but also getting to take the family up with me to enjoy the ‘off time’ together. I will return all calls and emials when I return, thank you for your patience. If you have a session anytime from the 11th to the 18th feel free to leave a message with any questions you have and I will get back to you when I can.
Belle’s mommy wins the prize today! She has been so patient waiting for me to post these pictures. The night my daughter’s forehead got cut (scroll to previous post) was the night I was going to blog her pictures.
Well, this little gem was a ROCK STAR! The first hour of her session I wasn’t sure I was going to get anything spectacular. She didn’t want to sleep but she didn’t want to be awake either, this is extremely hard to work with. You get all sorts of pictures with half opened eyes. After that first hour, Belle, fell DEEP asleep and I was able to work her little body into some amazing positions! She was AMAZING. Here you go Marina, contrats on your second little angel.
