This one just hits me, just might be my favorite photo taken this year. This girl IS pretty special and is actually my first client to photo completely for 2 full years, from newborn to present.

Most of you know that my husband is in the Army and has been gone since January. We were telling him about our FUN day at the park and he asked if we would put some pictures up so he could see them.

The kids had been dying to go to the park with the new water fountain area. Needless to say they had a blast as you can clearly see

What the heck have I been up to during the start of 2010??? Soooo much. I was contacted by Laura of Ginger Louise Clothing after she had seen this session of Alayna here on the blog. She asked if I would be interested in shooting her spring line and of course I obliged. I have fallen in love with what she does, the clothes are amazing, my daughter adores them as does every girl I have worked with on the shoots.

It has been a growing experience for me, learning how to shoot for the clothes, making sure they are seen cleary, good color, etc. It was work, but it was FUN!

I had the pleasure of meeting these awesome kids through one of my regular clients Fritzie. She called me one day with plans to ‘kidnap’ these gorgeous kids for a surprised session as a christmas gift. Sounded like fun to me so I was definately game.

We only had about 45 minutes to shoot before one of them had to get back to a volleyball game but things went perfectly.We got it all done and sent them on there merry way. Abbie, Allie,Annie and Rex, it was a pleasure to meet you guys and thank you Fritzie for setting things up.

I truly believe that children have something special, I just see it in their eyes. Maybe that’s one reason I love being a children’s photographer -I just see it in them and know when capture it. It all makes sense to me but in some strange way it is indescribable
