Heidi has been anxiously awaiting her sneak peek, here it is!
I had SO much fun with this family, they had booked a mini holiday session, which is 30 minutes. We had so much fun we went for at least an hour!
Enjoy your peek Heidi!

How could anyone even resist this???
Had to share =-)
Here is Bailey’s new sister Chloe
All together now, “Awwww”

Some of the images I have the most fun doing are of the big brother or big sister during a newborn session. During today’s newborn session I snapped a few pictures of big sister Bailey while baby sister Cloe had a snack break. I love just giving them a few minutes of undivided attention, I have noticed that they really appreciate this time once they get used to the idea. During a time when the new baby is getting a lot of attention it is nice to pay special attention to them.
You want to take a pictures of ME?

Hmmm still not sure about this…

Ooookay, I’ll be cute for you

Baby Chloe’s sneak peek coming soon
I photographed him when he was still in his momma’s belly and when he was a newborn and now he is 3 months old!
Geovani when we was just a few weeks old:

I truly believe that children have something special, I just see it in their eyes. Maybe that’s one reason I love being a children’s photographer -I just see it in them and know when capture it. It all makes sense to me but in some strange way it is indescribable
Meet Emma, a real life angel

I had these gorgeous announcements come through last week and took a minute to photograph them. These beautiful trifold birth announcements are included in your package when you book your newborn session with Soul Focus Photography. I custom design your announcement using your newborn photo’s giving your a one of a kind announcement that no one else will have.
They may also be ordered as Christmas cards, birthday invitations, really anything you want!
The come in a variety of paper choices -pearl, linen, lustre, etc. Pearl paper is standard and just absolutely decadent. These pictures just don’t even do justice to the soft classy shimmer this paper gives you.

One of my most favorite things in the whole entire world is having the privelage to watch a little one grow from newborn into a beautiful young girl!
It is even more wonderful when it involves an image that I hold dear to my heart, last year I took this photo of makennah as a newborn. I was just
beginning to experiment with ‘hanging babies’. It is now a trademark that I am proud of and this image mark a stepping stone in my career as a photographer.
Then

Now

More images from their family session to come =-)
Sarah and I knew eachother waaaaaay back in our pageant days. She was the Mini Miss yuba sutter and the Little Miss California State, and I was the Teen Miss Yuba Sutter -it is hard to believe we are both married now and having families. I was extremely excited when Sarah contacted me for newborn pictures and even more excited when we decided on a maternity session as well. She is absolutely gorgeous, who wouldn’t want to photograph her?
Sarah and her husband, Jason, drove down from Roseville for their maternity session. They wanted to use one of the pictures for their Christmas cards so we made it an outdoor family and maternity extravaganza. It was FUN.
Can’t wait for little Austin to make his debut!
I don’t think I have said this all year, but I think this one is my favorite photo I have take all year. I don’t know what it is, but I LOVE it

Here she is again, Bailey was such a doll at 4 days old that I asked her mommy if I could come back in a few days and do some fun stuff with her.
She fought us a bit harder this time (what a difference a few days makes), it only took Jessica and I two hours to settle into this pose.
It was worth all the work and all the wait!
