We will now be accepting LIMITED NEWBORN SESSIONS each month! You may book your session as soon as your know you are pregnant to guarantee your spot (space will be assigned according to your due date). I am doing this mostly so that I may serve my clients better and keep my creativity fresh and unique.

I am always a bit nervous when I am meeting a client for their first session with Soul Focus Photography. Who wouldn’t be though, right?
We had set up our session for the wee hours of the morning but ended up starting a bit late. The sun was too bright by that time and location pretty much went out the window. Oh boy, then I had to think on my feet and decide where we would go from there. My nerves double and we headed to the next place.
We had an incredible time with lots of laughs and energy, this little girl is just TOO incredibly adorable. When I got home I uploaded their images and fell in LOVE with them.
I can’t decide if its strange that this is my favorite image out of ALL that we took or if its just because I can feel how much she loves that blankie when I look at it. It just captures it so perfectly

I was able to capture Faith during her first week of life and she just took my breath away. Isn’t she just to die for in that flower petal hat??? I just had so much fun with her. Faith’s mommy is Kristen, you might remember her from the group maternity shoot we did a couple of posts back…

I will be out of town from today, July 5th, until the 11th. I have the amazing privelage of being the photographer for an awesome organization in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Redwood Christian Park. So I will be snapping away during the week for them but also getting to take the family up with me to enjoy the ‘off time’ together.
