The first of the beach sessions!
I was so so happy when I saw this family walking across the sand to meet me. I adored the jewel tones they chose for the family and I STILL just can’t get over the amazingness (uh-yah that’s word!) of their natural blond curly hair!
These little ones worked my camera and made a great start to a week full of beach sessions!
I saw the Burns family today for a quick family christmas session. I will be seeing Billie in a few months for maternity and then newborn photos so she just wanted a quick update on family pictures. This family was SO fun, the boys were so good and SO adorable. I was thrilled with what we got in such a short time, all together I think we spent 20 minutes shooting =-)

For all of you going crazy with curiousity, in yesterday’s head swap I took the gorgeous Mommy’s face from the bottom photo and applied to the photo where she was blinking!
One of my most favorite things in the whole entire world is having the privelage to watch a little one grow from newborn into a beautiful young girl!
It is even more wonderful when it involves an image that I hold dear to my heart, last year I took this photo of makennah as a newborn. I was just
beginning to experiment with ‘hanging babies’. It is now a trademark that I am proud of and this image mark a stepping stone in my career as a photographer.

In order to keep availability open for my newborns, as well as maternity and child sessions I will be accepting limited Holiday Sessions.
Premium Holiday Sessions will last until November 6th in order to finish processing those orders AND to allow me to enjoy the Christmas season with my husband and family before he is off to Basic Training.
Available dates are as follows, with a 5pm and 6pm time slot each day. Saturdays with have 3 availble slots
All of these days are available BUT I WILL NOT FILL ALL THESE SLOTS. 20 slots will be filled, first come first served:

If you know anything about the Voudoris family you know that they are a one-of-a-kind family. They offer so much to this community
and now Michael Voudoris will serve our country as he will be deployed for a year with the United States Army. Prayers for this family as they adjust to this time will be MUCH appreciated. He leaves in just a few days and I know that they much be getting anxious. I got together with this family for a quick bon voyage session so they would have current family portraits before he leaves. Kristen also did something INCREDIBLY unique and special for the kids and had pillowcases made for each child that had a picture of them with daddy. That way they can hug and kiss daddy whenever they miss him.

Oh my big girl had her first day of preschool today. We have all been anxiously awaiting the day, my sweet girl is such
a social butterfly and soooo ready for this. She handled it so well and sent me on my way like a big girl, I think the only one who
took it hard was little brother Hunter. All he did while she was gone was ask “Where’s Sissy?” and “We need to go get Sissy”
it was adorable. They are SO close and I am so blessed by that.
Is it weird that I just now feel like a mom? All these years I have been home with them and never had any activities
that required setting the alarm or a schedule that we had to keep. It feels so good to have a reason to get up and go…

I am always a bit nervous when I am meeting a client for their first session with Soul Focus Photography. Who wouldn’t be though, right?
We had set up our session for the wee hours of the morning but ended up starting a bit late. The sun was too bright by that time and location pretty much went out the window. Oh boy, then I had to think on my feet and decide where we would go from there. My nerves double and we headed to the next place.
We had an incredible time with lots of laughs and energy, this little girl is just TOO incredibly adorable. When I got home I uploaded their images and fell in LOVE with them.
I can’t decide if its strange that this is my favorite image out of ALL that we took or if its just because I can feel how much she loves that blankie when I look at it. It just captures it so perfectly
