The first of the beach sessions!
I was so so happy when I saw this family walking across the sand to meet me. I adored the jewel tones they chose for the family and I STILL just can’t get over the amazingness (uh-yah that’s word!) of their natural blond curly hair!
These little ones worked my camera and made a great start to a week full of beach sessions!
Olivia is my first client photographed completely, all the way from newborn to 2 years old. We never missed a beat, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 18 months and now 2 years old! Throw in a yearly christmas session and other general life moments and we have gotten to know each other well, and well, I just LOVE this family.
And just because she is so special, we took a photo together to signify our 2 years of photo excursions!
Part two of this session is for their “We’ve Moved” postcard mama is sending out. They just moved into the most gorgeous home! We had a ton of fun trying to capture brother and sister together for their card
This one just hits me, just might be my favorite photo taken this year. This girl IS pretty special and is actually my first client to photo completely for 2 full years, from newborn to present.
More to come from Olivia’s two year portrait session!
Heidi R.: Stunning photograph Bec!!!
Emily: This is an amazing picture!
On the paths of life you sometimes meet particularly special people, and don’t they just always seem to live far away. Can’t they ever be people that live in or close to your hometown?? Well, this past week while I was in Santa Cruz (Ben Lomand is specifically where this photo was taken) I met an AMAZING family.
This family has 2 daughters and a 3 week old son. We decided to cook up some outdoor newborn fun! I wasn’t sure how it would go since its already a challenge to work with a 3 week old baby, as opposed to a 1 or 2 weeker. Add in the outdoor part and you have got a double dose challenge.
Well, Gavin did not disappoint. We actually did an entire series of photos with him setting on something to keep the cold of the stone from shocking him, but after we got those we decided to chance it, we put him straight down on the wall. AMAZING, Gavin didn’t mind a single bit.

Nikki: LOVE LOVE LOVE!
alissa: Rebecca, this shot turned out amazing! You are so talented and wonderful! Our kiddos are still talking about yours! :)
Emily: Wow! I can't believe he did that! A great shot!
What can I say….
Babies LOVE me! Georgie was no exception, we had a fabulous time together and his toothless grin just proves it

George was a baby three years in the waiting and I was BEYOND honored to photograph him shortly after his arrival. His parents tried for a baby for many years and boy was he worth the wait. They had me drive out to Handford, Ca, where they live, to take his photos and he just knocked my socks off.
Yup, and this is the face right after he peed all over everything! LOVE it!

I have just had it so good lately with all these adorable newborns. They have been so good to me, I just can’t get enough.
We have been anxiously awaiting Kessler, although at the time of his mama’s maternity session he didn’t have a name yet. His big sister Reece is so sweet and so good with him, and of course his parents are totally in love.

Most of you know that my husband is in the Army and has been gone since January. We were telling him about our FUN day at the park and he asked if we would put some pictures up so he could see them.
The kids had been dying to go to the park with the new water fountain area. Needless to say they had a blast as you can clearly see
Nikki: especially since ou got to play with your new lense!!
Kelly Roberts: great photos! Love this park; it's in my neighborhood. What lens are you using... a fisheye? -kelly
emily: these pics are awesome! i bet john will enjoy! where is the new park?
